Home Temptation was adapted by Korean drama, Wife Temptation. The drama is divided into two parts. The first part is Home Temptation and the next part is the Home Desire. It is starred by Choo Ja Hyun, Rain Li, Ling Xiaosu and Chi Shuai. It is a story of a change of a woman from a gentle young woman to be a tough and independent urban woman. The drama was initially played in Hunan Satellite on 21 February 2011. The highest urban ratings of the drama were 5.2% until the completion of the first show and the audience share was up to 26.7%, which defeated the Korean drama, Dae Jang Geum. It created the highest ratings in Hunan Satellite except for Princess of Pearl.

In the eyes of others, Lin Pinru (starred by Choo Ja Hyun) and Hong Shixian (starred by Ling Xiaosu) was a happy modeling couple. They were just a perfect match of each other but there were some troubles in their family. Along with the time flying, the romance of the beginning of marriage had been faded out and it was replaced by all kinds of realities in the life. Pinru was cursed by mother-in-law for being failed to be pregnant and there were so many difficulties in daily life. At the same time, the girlfriend, Ai Li (starred by Rain Li), finished the study in France and came back with a little boy, Shangen (starred by Zhu Jiayu) and Shangen was a son of Shixian.
